This album features The Serenity Prayer set to music. It has two recordings of this song on it, one is "sung" as if praying, (whispering) and the other is an "all-out" worship and praise production. This song can be useful at meetings that deal with addictions of any type where the Serenity Prayer is said routinely it can now be sung instead of just verbalized. Phil is available to perform FREE at AA or other addiction type meetings in his local area. In addition to this album, Phil has other positive, encouraging, affirmational type songs that are more spiritual in nature, which he also performs live in concert. This next album is still a work in process. Meanwhile, samples of some of the songs going on that album are available through snail-mail if you write to his e-mail address and request those snippets. Phil works with all age groups and with like minded people who believe in a power that is higher than human. His educating techniques have assisted folks from various walks of life including inner city to white collar neighborhoods. In addition to being a songwriter, singer, and musician, he is also a lecturer, family educator, metaphysician and sound therapist who uses music as a tool to help people heal their lives and work through personal issues. His presentaions are "EDU-TAINING"! He also records others' personal affirmations, for those individuals who want to listen to and sing their own affirmations in the car, on the way to work or shopping or wherever. Phil's full-time day job has him working with youth who have been traumatized by abuse. Like most kids, they wanted a bed-time story read to them, which Phil gladly did a few times. Then he decided to bring his guitar to work one day and offered to sing them bed-time songs instead of reading stories. Soon, they began asking him to sing them his "God Songs". When Phil learned that this home for youth was closing, he decided to record the songs he sang to them and give each child a cd of the songs as a going away gift. Little did they know that they inspired the album's title. After each youth received his copy of the album, Phil decided to offer the free performance of this album to local churches and then split the sales with the sponsoring church. This offer still stands and is available to groups within a 50 mile radius of Phil's home in the Lake In The Hills area (northwest Suburb of Chicago).
