Barely in her 20's, Amanda is becoming the most talked about young talent to emerge from the Central Pennsylvania region in many years. Her style of singing is a fusion of R&B, Pop, and Contemporary Country giving you fresh melodies, mature lyrics and a very pleasing vocal presentation that sets her apart from other young singers on the scene today. Her powerful yet compelling voice has been compared to the greatest voices of our day such as: Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, LeAnn Rimes, Faith Hill and even Pop sensations Whitney Houston and Celine Dion.

Amanda found her voice as a regular vocalist in her church as well as in school chorus and plays. As her talent grew, it became obvious that she was a very special young lady. As a result of singing at many weddings and other functions, it became necessary to make a demo tape to give to prospective clients. It was at that time she came to the attention of record producer Jerry Duncan. "Her talent was amazing" "One of the best natural voices I have ever heard" was Jerry's opinion.

After working as a team over the last 4 years, Amanda has entered the business of music and is getting noticed in a big way. Her debut at the York Fair in 2000 opened the door for performances at The Strand Theatre, First Night York and the Harley Davidson Open House. In January 2001, independent label, Bullet Records released "In Your Eyes" the debut CD from Amanda Perko. It immediately became the best selling local CD in the region "surpassing many major offerings" according to Border's Books.

The 2001 season brought many exciting opportunities for Amanda and her growing fan base. She has shared the stage with National Country Stars, Tammy Cochran, Chris Cagle, Marshall Dyllon Band, Trick Pony, Mike Walker, Cyndi Thomson, and has performed at Fairs across Maryland and Pennsylvania. This year has already teamed Amanda with Mercury Recording Artist Mark Wills for several dates and she will work with Sons of the Desert, Tommy Shane Steiner, Brad Martin, The Badlees and others for the 2002 season. Amanda's stage show is filled with familiar cover songs and exciting original material from her debut CD as well as her newest release "The Woman This Girl Is Going To Be". Either way, she will sure keep your toe tapping! Don't take our word for it, come to her show and judge for yourself!
**UPDATE - Now living in Nashville, TN she is reaching for her dream...a major label recording contract. Good Luck Amanda, we're pulling for you!
