Hello, my name is Mitchell Reese.

I just turned 40 in October, which happened to also be the accumulation of a lifetime of musical work I completed at The Spot Recording Studio with the owner John Huber.

Though there are only 8 tracks on my C.D.

Long, Long Way copyright 1995, which was when I started this project originally.

My library of original compositions is extensive.

When I started this session with the help of John Huber, he introduced me to the studio musicians who assisted me on this project and in only one day of recording from scratch on the initial tracks which included my vocals & acoustic guitar, the lead guitar work by Floyd McColley, the percussion tracks by Jim Huber and the bass guitar on tracks 2,3,8 by Dan King.

They did a fantastic job for me and really expressed their musical aptitude to complete this small section of what I wanted to accomplish in such a short time frame.

Unfortunately I had to return to Panama City, Fl.and let my project stand as it was until returning back to this area.

On the day of my return a close friend of mine to tune his guitar for him introduced me to James Krages.

I took him on as a student to teach him guitar and we became close friends and then realized his singing ability.

James' re-inspiration in my project was essential to the completion of this C.D.

In August of 99 we reentered the same studio to finish recording.

At this time I layed down the remaining Bass tracks and James' back up vocals.

The results of all this effort are evident in the over all quality of the music, I hope you agree.

I started my musical journey before I ever started into school.

My mother to keep me amused would play her records for me which I feel was instrumental in my love of music.

I watched my older siblings while they practiced their piano lessons, and I learned by ear to play Brahms Lullaby before I could even spell.

My first experience with a guitar was on my oldest brothers Jeff's birthday.

I was still so young we were still taking baths together and I told him about his present, a guitar.

Which of course I was punished for and this memory will always be held very dear to me, because he passed away several years ago.

I tinkered with different musical instruments through the years until my high school days when I really focused on guitar & choir.

I became proficient enough in my later teens to start playing professionally and continue to this day.

I cannot thank all of the people enough who were responsible through out my life, some knowing, some unknowing of the effect they have had on my life and my music.

I would like to personally thank you for taking the time to listen to my music and I hope it will bring you as much joy as it has given me to create this small dream of mine.

Sincerely, Mitch Reese Dedicated to the memory of my brother Jeff Reese ,1957 to 1993
