Kenny is one of the best songwriters and singers in the music business. He had several hits on Capital Records before signing with Axbar. His "Bluest Heartache of the Year" on Capital was a major Billboard hit and still is highly prized and sought after by fans and collectors world wide. This album produced by Joe Scates at studios in San Antonio and Houston was leased by EMI Records and released in New Zealand and contiguous territories. This recording demonstrates the versatility of this fine writer and singer. From hard country to comedy, love songs, wedding songs, blues, latin dance songs, and a touching song written for his little daughter (When I Be Five) this recording has it all. His Wedding Song, (Two Will Be One) has been much in demand for years and Kenny is still asked to sing it live at weddings. It has been translated into Spanish, but has not yet been recorded in Spanish. Kenny has tentatively accepted an offer to tour in New Zealand and the details are being worked out. . .
