Art Crummer is an acclaimed performer winning multiple blue ribbons for his vocals of old time standards and rarely heard classics. He has taken 1st or 2nd place in old-time music, Flatpick guitar, fingerstyle guitar as well as Dobro and Male Vocalist several times. Son of an appalachian preacher and a Florida resident since 1960, his music includes prewar blues, swing, funny songs, early popular songs, ballads, gospel, and early county songs plus a few originals. His guitar work and singing have been compared with Norman Blake, Doc Watson, Ernest Tubb, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, John Hurt and John Jackson.
