Dear Browser, This is my second cd and I am proud of it. I even listen to it and enjoy it like it's someone elses music. There are only a few spots where I do some cringing and think things like "ok we should have ended there " or "The guitar is too quiet in the mix there", but all in all I really love it. I"ve read that Monet had to be kept away from his own art shows because he would bring paints and a brush and "fix" up stuff he decided he no longer liked. This is harder and more expensive to do with recordings. But I understand the temptation. This is a recording of a period of time where I got together with some really smart, fun people and ate a lot, sang, laughed constantly, had a few intense discussions and a few disagreements, drank Bud Lite and smoked some cigarettes and it was fun. Reviews: For Hollow Girl "This one is a knock out! Reads voice is big and unwavering and her all original lyrics are stiking, unusual and startlingly stark." -Sing Out For Romeo & Julia "Read has a gift for capturing the humor and everyday pathos of life...her lovely voice keeps us listening" -Victory Review "Romeo & Julia sounds at first like a collection of cute love songs with country inspiration, but the more you hear it, the digger you deep, the more wierd elements drift above." -The Original Sin Fanzine "The tall voice in the small package" -Chris Lunn, Victory music founder This selling of self part doesn't appeal to me as much. So help me out, listen, like it as much as I do and buy one so I can make hundreds of dollars and live happily after ever.
