Purdymouth is excited to announce the release of their second album IIth (pronounced "tooth"). With IIth, Purdymouth wanted to make an album that paid tribute to some of their heavy metal heros and at the same time showcase the "live energy" of the band. Purdymouth gives their own unique treatment to classic tunes by Ozzie, Rush, Van Halen, Nazareth, Joe Walsh, Earl Scruggs, the Grateful Dead and the Beatles as well as more obscure artists, Jerry Joseph and Camper Van Beethoven. Purdymouth also, penned two new original songs for this album so as not to rely soley on the classic hits of the past. Purdymouth infused these tracks with their unique brand of acoustic bluegrass, western swing, reggae and rock 'n roll to create a fun, groovin' sound. Often times you'll be listening what you think is a classic bluegrass tune and then all of a sudden realize, that what you are hearing is in fact a classic rock tune!
