As a concert artist, Kimberly Snaufer has performed solo, chamber and orchestral repertoire in the United States and Canada. She has performed with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra for Houston’s Theatre Under The Arts, the Shreveport Orchestra, the Dallas Wind Symphony and the Fort Worth Symphony. Canadian concerts include appearances with the Mississauga Symphony, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and Opera in Concert. Her performances have involved working under the batons of Christoph Eschenbach, Zdenek Macal and Robert Shaw. In addition to her classical performances, Ms Snaufer has played in orchestras accompanying Frank Sinatra, Jr., Bernadette Peters, Ray Charles, The Moody Blues, The Oak Ridge Boys and Reba McIntyre.

Ms. Snaufer received her Bachelors of Arts from Southern Methodist University under the direction of Susan Dederich - Pejovich and completed her graduate work at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto under the direction of Judy Loman. Upon completion of her graduate studies, she remained at the Conservatory teaching harp, piano and theory.

In 1992, Kimberly Snaufer returned to Houston where she remains in demand as a free-lance performer and private instructor. In addition to her private studio, Ms. Snaufer has been an Affiliate Artist at Houston Baptist University since 1998. In the summer of 2000, Ms. Snaufer directed the first annual Houston Baptist University Summer Harp Festival.

The Snaufer-Garvin Duo, with guitarist Marc Garvin, tours Texas giving performances of their arrangements of South American and Spanish flavored music. Organizations such as Houston’s DaCamera, The Texas Institute for Arts in Education, Texas Commission for the Arts, The Flamenco Society for Arts in Houston, the Brazos Valley Guitar Society, Texas A&M and Houston Baptist University have all sponsored the Duo. Their CD recording, "Zero Hour" which features this music has been widely received.

Ms. Snaufer recorded, directed and produced her second CD, "Tidings of Joy" which was released in November 2002. This Christmas collection includes appearances by Houston musicians Ema Armanious, Jeffrey Butler, Josue Casillas, Marc Garvin, Alecia Lawyer and Elizabeth McKenna Greenberg.
