Kennl Rayez Hobson is a Opera Singer that has the ability to sing jazz, pop, broadway, R&B, and all forms of Christian music. And the singer has performed in all of these venues all over the USA and in Europe. Mr. Hobson resides in New York City and recently appeared on Broadway in "RAGTIME". He has appeared at New York City Opera and at the Metropolitan Opera House. The singer has been called one of the finest young baritones around today. He began his music career at the age of five as a pianist and received his first professional job at age ten as a pianist in a large methodist and baptist church. So, piano is his first love and the voice came later in his teens when he won many vocal competitions. Appearing on Broadway in RAGTIME was a high point for the singer since the musical won four Tonys and many other awards. The cast CD was nominated for a Grammy and won for orchestration. Mr. Hobson has finished his first solo CD call "Songs from the Soul" containing oratorios and spirituals. Soon the singer will travel to the Orient to do concerts and plans to records his second solo CD of his favorite Broadway Songs!
