Brendan McKinney is only one of a few artists who has experienced success in both commercial and classical music. He has performed throughout the United States and Canada ministering beautifully with his own unique style and has enjoyed working as an editor and producer of children's music in Nashville, Tennessee. Brendan received his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from Baylor University in 1991 and 1995, respectively. He then continued his post-graduate education at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Brendan's primary teachers include Helen Ann Shanley, Dr. Bradley Garner, and Beverly Fleming with extensive master class performances with some of the world's greatest teachers including Paula Robison, Jill Felber, Jack Wellbaum, Robert Dick and Bonita Boyd. In the past 10 years, Brendan has performed extensively throughout the United States and Canada. In 1998 and 2000, he was invited to be featured on the Steve Green Christmas tours, and in 2000, was featured along with Nielsen and Young at Ridgecrest Baptist Conference Center. Brendan has performed professionally with the Waco Symphony Orchestra and was a member of the Cincinnati Philharmonia Orchestra. He is an in-demand studio session player in Nashville, Tennessee, and he continues to enjoy teaching and performing. Most recently Brendan traveled and performed with renowned classical guitarist, Gary Lowry, as well as gifted jazz pianist and performer, Teresa Wilhelmi. Brendan's combined innate musical and improvisational abilities create a phenomenal sonic and heart felt worship experience. His heart is committed to the local body of believers and to the world at large.
