"Christmas" is the second album release for Andy and continues in his tradition of contemplative and reflective piano style. Its sounds evoke the very emotions of the season, from the opening echoes of the "Carol of the Bells" to the majestic closing choirs of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" Medley. At age four he began playing piano "by ear." For twenty years he has continued to dedicate his talent and abilities, especially in music, to bringing honor and glory to God. "Hymns are my heritage. Having been raised in church, they are a big part of the foundation of my faith. Their words and melodies have always spoken to my heart and have been an important tool which God has used during times of struggle, doubt, and fear. At times when God seems far, these precious hymns, which have sustained so many people for years, help lead me on and sustain me still today. This is why much of my work includes classic hymns. It's important to me that many of those who I love dearly, including my parents, grandmothers, friends, and church family be blessed by the music I create. I can only use the gift I have been given to bring people closer to the Creator who placed them in my life." "I don't pretend to be a great or accomplished musician. I simply want to spend the time our God has granted me reminding others that He loves them. It is my prayer that all who hear my praise will be lifted a little closer to heaven."
