Wave Magazine, March 2005 Musicians' Biographies Abigail Brown studied violin and voice at the Royal Northern College of Music and has worked as both a modern and baroque violinist. She recently left the English concert to focus on integrated body, breath and voice work with Corinne Shirman-Sarti. Jonathan Hayward studied classical guitar and composition at Dartington college of arts and City University London. He has worked as a guitarist and percussionist in both contemporary classical, electronic and popular music, and teaches principally blind and visually impaired children. Fiona Cross studied clarinet at the Royal College of Music. She plays in many major European orchestras and chamber ensembles, frequently as soloist. She is a professor of Clarinet at Trinity College London. Timothy Kraemer has played the cello backing many rock bands, has been a member of a rock band, several jazz bands and lots of classical bands. He has written string pieces published by Schotts, Faber and The Associated Board. He has also written several operas for children. He is currently studying Music Education and improvisation at the Guildhall School of Music. American guitarist Flynn Cohen holds music degrees from Dartington College of arts and Mills College in California. He has recorded two solo albums and has toured the western world playing a variety of traditional and contemporary acoustic music, including Irish trad and bluegrass. He is writing a book on the overtone series and is presently residing in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Wei Ping Hao studied singing in China and Australia, and has worked as a classical and jazz singer in Europe and the Far East. Her second son Leon just beat this CD to the press.
