Leigh Stephens has been creating his version of "American " music for over 35 years. Recently acknowledged by Rolling Stone Magazine (RS931-Top 100 Guitarists of All Time) and Guitar World Magazine (3/4/2004--100 All Time Greatest Metal Guitarists), Leigh has always gone his own way. From his acknowledged legacy with Blue Cheer to his accomplishments with assorted solo efforts, Leigh has forged his way through what HE LIKES in American music and played what he wanted to play. This recent edition finds Leigh interpreting everything from Elmer Bernstein (Theme to "Magnificent Seven") to Van Morrison (In to the Mystic) to Burt Bacharach (Baby it's you). With the help of guest vocalist Eva Caperon, he touches on everything from traditional Blues to contemporary "Pop" with a live concert sound and a bit of commercial America thrown in. Through it all, Leigh is at his best----playing it clean and pure and just having fun. Isn't that the way it should be??
