AAR (All American Revival) is a high energy Southern Rock and Blues band. The band started out back in 1998 with a few friends. We rehearsed in a small Northwest Ohio town called Alvordton. A few of the rehearsals turned into some pretty good times and someone suggested we call ourselves " The Aldvorton Alcolholics Revival". The name stuck and we became known as "The AAR Band" to all of our local fans. Since then we've changed the meaning of the name to "All American Revival". We put out our first CD entitled "On the Rocks" at the end of 2001. The Cd has 8 original great Rock and Blues tunes. Tunes range from a rock and blues boogie to an acoustic duet. We are currently getting ready to record our 2nd Cd and it should be out by the end of 2003. We are a solid four piece band with the best line-up of muscians we have ever had. They include: Josh Taylor..........Lead/rhythm guitars and vocals Jeff Murphy..........Bass guitar and vocals Gary Shinners........Drums Jerry "The Jam Man" Lucas..Lead guitar back up vocals The band's live performances consist of great original tunes, plus covers of the greats from Guthrie and Dylan to Pink Floyd and the Stones. We play pure classic rock and blues at its best!!!!
