Despite surgery and extensive rehabilitation for repair of compound fractures in two fingers on his right hand, Don Roth has returned to his true love........The piano. I have seen Don play in various venues: show like "Anything Goes", "Cinderella", "Hello Dolly" and "Oliver" are just a few. Cool jazz trios to playing the Classics, as well as in classic rock bands. Intimate coffee houses and dark smoky blues clubs show that Don has found his true voice.....The Blues ! I hope you enjoy listening to this collection as much as I do, and as much as Don enjoyed recording it. -- Jason A. Matthews A special thank you to my friends for all their love, prayers and support: Jackie Bolstadt, Macy Favor, Paul Hangauer, Norman Jackson, Jim Joezens, Jim Kala, Jack Lawson, Aaron Lewis, Jason Matthews, Jennifer May, Ken Olena, Laura Olka, John & Robin Perry, Mike & Mary Schoerder, Sue Sicurella, Steve "The Stepper" Stephens, Barb Usiak, Ray Weldy, Joe Woefel, Emmett Whittaker. The Colored Musicians Club, the engineers and staff at John Perry Music Productions. And my family.....Lee & Carol, Dave & Vicki, Marshall & Linda This CD is dedicated to my parents, Rev. Leland & Peggy Roth, and to my beloved son, Andrew. To paraphrase Victor Borge, my parents made it possible.... My son makes it necessary!
