An interesting album of sorts, perhaps should have been called Mood Swing for the eclectic styles. I stuck with Floating Books referring to the songs being like short stories or books. This album was recorded with traditional analog equipment, and came out quite good! The first album, in which I opened up a bit, since the others that I did before. Most noticeably would be my vocal style. After doing some drugs, drinking and now living in a new environment, Boston, I was pretty open minded doing almost anything, but I was a bit limited because of the equipment that I had at the time. I also broke away from the usual love type songs and started writing about odd things, like a plunger coming to life. Though I have done songs like this in the past, it was becoming more dominant with Floating Books. Favorites: Money Have None: about my boss. Plunger: the plunger wants to be used! Dark: a song about living in the darkness of the city.
