"An Evening With The Blues" Received the 2003 "BLEWZZY AWARD" out of Florida. JUST RELEASED for 2006 the new CD - "BLUE VOODOO" This new CD brings together some of the most talented musicians to come out of Atlanta, GA all on one disc. This is one hot blues CD!!!! As stated by John Taylor, Blues on Stage, “Mark is one talented young man.†An accomplished performer on guitar, Mark has performed and recorded with many bands over the years performing all genres of music from Rock, Jazz, Country, and Blues. Mark has recorded at the Bennett House in Franklin, Tennessee with producer Kenny Mimms, who performed many years with the Marshall Tucker Band and produced the solo album by Jimi Jamison, lead singer from the rock group Survivor. Mark had his television debut when he was featured in a T.V. commercial for radio station 107.5 WZZQ in Indiana. Mark’s love for writing and recording eventually led him to building his own professional studio where all three albums have been written, engineered, produced, and recorded by Mark himself. The mastering was done by the legendary George Marino at Sterling Sound in New York City. Mark’s albums have been receiving rave reviews and are being played all over the United States and many countries worldwide. He is in constant rotation on XM Satellite Radio/Bluesville, Sirius Satellite Radio/Blues, as well as internet radio stations such as: Electric Blues, Blues Deluxe Radio, and Radio Free Virgin. His songs have placed as high as #4 on the Blues Top 40 Chart, sharing the top spot with Bernard Allison and Albert King. He continues to place on blues charts everywhere. For a great start to 2006, Mark signed a licensing agreement with Los Angeles based Noma Music. Noma Music is a well established and credited licensing company that places compositions into motion pictures, TV & pay cable TV, commercials, DVD, and other multimedia productions. Mark’s band, The Cook-N-Blues Experience, has been entertaining standing room only crowds with the music of blues greats ranging anywhere from Muddy Waters and Stevie Ray Vaughn to Jimi Hendrix and Robin Trower as well as many of Mark’s original material.
