While being true to their roots of the original artists like Freddy King, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy etc. they have developed their own powerful, and professional and magnetic delivery, with Vernon Northover (lead guitar vocals from London England) utilizing a guitar style reminiscent of some of the earlier 60's blues artists from England such as Peter Green, John Mayall, Eric Clapton, Mick Taylor etc. The British Yankees who are celebrating their 10th anniversary) have just returned from an incredibly successful trip to the UK which has coincided with their new CD Legendary Knights which features the legendary blues icon James Montgomery on 5 tracks.
