Here's highlights from the "Blues & Boogie Piano Summit" series, recorded at the November 16th, 2002 show- the impressive lineup is Mark "Mr. B" Braun from Ann Arbor, Michigan; Carl Sonny Leyland from Orange, California via Southampton, England; Silvan Zingg from Lugano, Switzerland; and myself, Ricky Nye from Cincinnati, Ohio (the event producer). Stellar accompaniment from Tony Franklin on drums and Eric Sayer on bass...twin Baldwin grand pianos up the ante on this edition! We had an absolute blast and this recording is the proof- lots of great boogie woogies on this disc- enjoy!
