The Bottom Line is mostly about dealing with separation....after saying "No" to a second contract with Columbia, I went off to work with abused children and developed a program which helps kids-at-risk resolve emotional conflict through music. During this time. I worked on my second Indy project which is now the CD known as The Bottom Line.
This is a CD for people who are looking for a musical project that emotes the feelings of conflict and resolution brought on by the most profound trauma that occurs in our lives, which is separation.
It is a balanced work that keeps us mindfull of the value of laughter and joy while exploring the stuff that sometimes makes us restless or sad.
The value is in that which I learned from the kids and not in anything that I might have taught them (or thought I was teaching).
